As TRIARQ Health Group Chairman and Managing Partner, Mike is responsible for delivering TRIARQ Health’s vision to redefine value-based care within the medical community. His oversight of the organization’s practice services, value-based programs and communities, comes with it tremendous business experience spanning three decades in working with fast growing companies as an entrepreneur, senior leader and visionary.
Being a healthcare futurist is nothing new for Mike, having grown gloStream from a software company into a leading organization that sought to transform independent practices into high performing leaders. Mike is a serial entrepreneur and investor and is also very active in his local community. He sits on the boards of several Southeastern Michigan-based companies and is a trustee at Detroit Country Day, one of the country’s finest private schools. Mike received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
In the role of Executive VP, Value-Based Services, Sabrina works with both business and practice leaders in setting forward strategic goals as well as benchmarking and business modeling toward value-based solutions. Working closely with Managing Partner Mike Sappington, Sabrina develops and executes TRIARQ Health’s vision.
Before joining TRIARQ Health, Sabrina served as vice president of business development for Emdeon Practice Services and Sage Software (formerly WebMD Practice Services and Medical Manager Corporation). In this role, Sabrina was responsible for business and corporate development including strategic partnerships, product strategy and the development of new product offerings. She developed and launched Medical Manager's EDI Services business and was responsible for sales and operations of EDI services to Medical Manager's 100,000 providers. Throughout her career, Sabrina has held roles in virtually all areas of ambulatory practice management including sales, implementation, training and support.
In his role managing the Practice Services team, Piyush directs both the organizational directives as well as the company push to transition the medical community toward value-based care. With a keen knowledge of the product and service challenges facing the medical community, Piyush also works closely with the service development side of the business where his operational and technological acumen are utilized.
Prior to joining gloStream, Piyush served as a senior-level business executive at Accenture where he worked with C-level executives at a variety of diverse, global Fortune 500 corporations – including software and hardware vendors – to maximize efficiencies and corporate value. Piyush also spent time at Chrysler in IT supporting finance, engineering, human resources, and shared services organizations. Piyush holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronics from Kurukshetra University and a Master's degree in computer applications from the Birla Institute of Technology in India.
Having spent a career both managing and creating comprehensive projects and software programs, Milind’s talents are well suited for the role as GM of Operations and Development with TRIARQ Health. With a career that includes a considerable amount of work in the healthcare technology space, Milind brings with him a keen eye to the transitioning needs in the current medical community environment.
Milind, who had co-founded gloStream with Senior VP Yaw Kwakye, helped manage the gloStream Technologies team, where he oversaw the administrative area for the unit’s developers and led gloStream’s training and partner coordination functions. Milind earned a diploma in computer engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Pune. While still a university student, Milind started a training institute for Microsoft technology and also worked with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as an affiliated training partner. He also worked as part of an United Nations development program in Nairobi, Kenya, that first laid the foundations for his interest in healthcare technology.
With Communities representing a tremendous element to both the value-based care story as well as the TRIARQ Health story, Steve’s role is essential in developing collaboration amongst medical communities. Previously serving as a Founding Partner and Board Member of TRIARQ when it was a leading tri-state network, Steve worked very closely with leading providers, therapists and other wellness professionals in creating environments that encouraged developing new standards through education, trust and an open dialogue.
Steve is an entrepreneur as well as a skilled consultant, having served as President of Chapman Gill International, where he advised CEOs and Practice Owners on business strategy and change management, resulting in over 50 business acquisitions. Before serving in a consultancy role on the medical side, Steve was a banking executive for both HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank for nearly three decades, having worked both in his native England as well as other locations globally.
An entrepreneur and visionary in his own right, Yaw Kwakye is a Senior VP managing the client support team and cloud operations. Armed with the knowledge of years of software architecture, research and product engineering, Yaw is uniquely fit for the role in seeing both customer success in their day-to-day operations as well as expanding – and securing – the organization’s cloud services.
Formerly serving as Chief Software Architect at gloStream, Yaw was also a co-founder with fellow TRIARQ Health leader Milind Ghyar. His strong customer service mentality as well as a keen ability to translate technological ideas into reality has been apparent throughout his esteemed, technology-based career. A native of Ghana, Yaw has spent over two decades solving the challenges facing the medical community with tailored and personalized approaches.
Julie Lundberg is VP and lead on TRIARQ Health’s Performance Management team. Serving as a leading practice advocate and visionary for independent medical practices, Julie spent a career creating seamless operations experiences for providers and their practices.
Carrying a unique knowledge of the impacts that IT decisions, healthcare regulations, and the financial tightening that fee-for-service reimbursements can have on today’s medical practices, Julie’s passion is to work with practices to create highly personalized solutions. Julie’s expertise in tying tailored solutions to performance metrics has also resulted in community-wide recognition. Julie previously served in various roles for William Beaumont Hospital in Metropolitan Detroit.
TRIARQ Health’s lead communicator and marketing strategist, Jeff serves as both emphatic evangelist of the TRIARQ story as well as a cultural leader amongst employees. From engaging the community in rich dialogue to creating interactive webinars and events, Jeff looks to continue to expand the TRIARQ Health message into more and more communities.
Prior to joining TRIARQ Health, Jeff managed the public relations team at Overit Media in Albany, New York, where he led a team of communications professionals in strategic and innovative media relations tactics. In his role as managing director, Jeff worked closely with many early stage start-ups looking to increase their company profile. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
